Yes! We often do all the planning remotely and meet our couple the week of the wedding so once is enough.
Each couple has non-negotiables. For some its music, others decor, and for others, it's photography. Part of planning is going over the different vendors and making sure they are aligned with your vision and budget. For our Lady In Waiting and Concierge couples you will receive our list of Preferred Vendors at the start of planning to guide you properly.
Spring is the busiest and the most expensive time to get married in the Keys. Vendors and venues fill up well in advance. Summer is extremely hot and humid in the Keys, however, costs are somewhat less expensive because of this, and the Keys tend to be less crowded during the summer months. Fall is again somewhat less crowed and less expensive prior to the holidays. Weather is usually ideal. Winter can be crowded over the Holidays and costlier. But weather is typically beautiful and not as humid.
After the Promise (what we call our contract) is signed and the initial deposit placed, we "meet" by phone and discuss overall planning and first steps. We've got you!
Yes you will need to obtain a marriage license from Florida in order for your marriage to be legal. We will send you the details of how to get it. There is no need for one from your state.
